Dearest Diary,
More humans have arrived. This time they suddelny appeared in the desert along with the stump of a tree. A very curious thing. Among the humans where and elf, halfling, and something that looks like one of our experiments - an elf with avian features. I followed this band of travelers as they made their way through the desert. They where really strange and tied themselves to each other with a length of rope. At night fall they settled down on a nest of firepincers. It was quite some fun watching them as the horde came above ground to fend them off. If it wasn't for the halfling male, who discovered where the edge of the nest was, the party was sure to be dinner for the little beatles. What a pity. I think I'll follow them as I have nothing better to do.
